TEN24 is a news intelligence application. We believe privacy is a right, not a feature. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected. We will never sell your data. We will never share it with advertisers.
We collect only what is necessary to operate the app:
- Google account email address — collected during sign-in via Google OAuth. Used solely to identify your account. We never read your Gmail, contacts, or any other Google data.
- Category preferences — the news categories you select (e.g. World, Tech, Finance). Stored to personalize your feed across devices.
We do not collect your name, location, device identifiers, browsing history, or any other personal information.
Your email address is used exclusively to authenticate your account and associate your preferences with your profile. Your category selections are used to filter the news feed to topics you care about. No data is used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose beyond making the app work for you.
Your data is stored securely via Supabase (supabase.com), a cloud database platform that uses industry-standard AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified. Your data is never stored on your device beyond what is required for authentication session management.
TEN24 uses two third-party services:
- Google OAuth — for sign-in only. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
- Supabase — for secure data storage. Governed by Supabase's Privacy Policy (supabase.com/privacy).
We do not sell, rent, share, or monetize your data with any other party under any circumstances.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days. To delete your account and all associated data, email us with the subject "Account Deletion Request."
